Meet The Creative Team

I’m thrilled to introduce Jennida Chase and Hassan Pitts of s/n Coalition, an internationally exhibited interdisciplinary artist collaborative whose work has been screened and presented in more than 50 countries.

Both are professors in Media Studies at UNC Greensboro, with Jennida serving as tenured faculty, and their collaborative practice has earned recognition including finalist distinction for the MacArthur Grant in Documentary Film and the Sundance New Horizon Lab, alongside numerous grants, international residencies, and research affiliations with the UNESCO/UNITWIN Chair on Cultural Heritage and Digital Memory in Türkiye. Jennida and Hassan will be joining us in Corolla as part of the creative team for the weekend, helping shape our hospitality while creating documentary photography and individual author portraits that honor this moment in your lives and work. I feel incredibly fortunate to have artists of their experience, international reach, and conceptual rigor documenting the weekend, and documenting you as published authors.
